SembMarine Brazil yard lands Brazil Navy deal

  • Sembcorp Marine‘s Brazilian yard has been awarded an around US$150 million (S$200 million) engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from state-owned Emgepron, which is tied to Brazil’s Ministry of Defence, the Singapore-listed company said Tuesday.

Far East Orchard enters JV to develop UK student housing project

  • Far East Orchard has entered a joint venture to acquire a land plot in Bristol, in the U.K., to develop a purpose-built student accommodation project (PBSA), according to a filing to SGX Tuesday.

UOL-Singapore Land JV awarded tender for Pine Grove site

  • A joint venture between UOL Group and Singapore Land (SingLand) was awarded the tender from Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) to develop the residential site at Pine Grove, according to a filing to SGX Tuesday.
