Aoxin Q & M Dental Group said Wednesday that temporary Covid-related closures of some operations in Liaoning Province, in China, would have a material adverse impact on earnings for the first half.
All of the dental hospitals and polyclinics in the province are currently in operation, with the exception of Gaizhou City Aoxin Q & M Stomatology Hospital, which is expected to resume operation soon, the company said in a filing to SGX.
Aoxin Q & M added that its distribution business for dental equipment and supplies, which was closed on 24 March, resumed operation on 5 May, while the laboratory services segment resumed operation on 4 May.
The company is a private dental group with operations in Northern China. Aoxin Q & M operates 11 dental centers, including four dental hospitals and seven polyclinics, across four cities in Liaoning Province. The equipment and supplies distribution business operates in Liaoning, Heilongjiang and Jilin Provinces.
