SG stocks Thursday: Yanlord Land, Samudera Shipping, PSA International

Singapore companies in focus on Thursday, 7 April 2022:

  • Yanlord Land: March contracted pre-sales dropped
  • Samudera Shipping to acquire 50 percent of GAC Samudera Logistics
  • Samudera Shipping to acquire a tanker from Shapoorji Pallonji Forbes Shipping

Samudera Shipping

Samudera Shipping has entered a deal to acquire 50 percent of PT GAC Samudera Logistics (PT GSL) from Gulf Agency Co. (Holdings) for US$9.5 million in cash, the company said in a filing to SGX Wednesday.

Samudera Shipping 

Samudera Shipping‘s subsidiary Samudera Tankers has entered a memorandum of agreement to acquire the tanker MT Saranga from Shapoorji Pallonji Forbes Shipping for US$12.5 million in cash, the company said in a filing to SGX Wednesday.

Yanlord Land

Yanlord Land said Wednesday its March total contracted pre-sales from residential and commercial units and car parks, including joint ventures and associates, amounted to around CNY5.34 billion from contracted gross floor area of 120,987 square meters, up 0.8 percent and down 23.8 percent, respectively, from March 2021.

PSA International 

PSA International has completed the acquisition of BDP International, which is a supply chain, transportation and logistics service provider, from New York-based private equity firm Greenbriar Equity, the port operator said in a filing to SGX Wednesday. 

“In a climate where end-to-end supply chain visibility and resilience are critical, the acquisition of BDP adds strength and depth to PSA’s logistics and supply chain offerings beyond the port,” PSA said in a statement filed to SGX. “At the same time, customers of BDP will benefit from additional insights and connectivity to PSA’s global network of deepsea, rail and inland terminals, as well as affiliated businesses in distriparks, warehouses and marine services.”
