Memiontec Holdings landed its largest contract so far, a S$56.6 million deal from Singapore’s national water agency, the Public Utilities Board (PUB), the company said in a filing to SGX Thursday.
Under the contract, Memiontec will install membrane bioreactor equipment with a treatment capacity of 22 million gallons a day for the Changi Water Reclamation Plant Phase 2, contract C22C, the filing said.
The works are set to begin in May, with contract duration projected at around 23 months, the filing said.
The contract boosted Memiontec’s order book to around S$120 million as of 23 March, up from S$78 million and end-December, the filing said.
“Securing this Contract from PUB is a significant achievement for Memiontec, both in terms of its contract value and technical complexity,” Tay Kiat Seng, Memiontec’s executive director and CEO, said in the statement.
The company said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the group’s financial results for the duration of the contract.
