Singapore companies announcing executive changes: AEM Holdings and EcoWise Holdings.

AEM Holdings

AEM Holdings said Wednesday Juha Arola, age 48, would be joining the company as chief operating officer, effective 1 April, leading the strategy and execution for manufacturing. 

Arola has more than 25 years of exerience developing complex manufacturing operations for SMT, final assembly and test, plastic injection molding, global procurement and sales, Temasek-backed AEM said in a filing to SGX. He was previously the chief operating officer at ESCATEC, leading group operations and sales in Asia, Europe and the U.K., the filing said.

“Juha is bringing valuable technical insights and experience to our global manufacturing and operations that will enhance AEM as we continue to establish our position as a technology leader in the semiconductor and electronics test and handling industries. He makes a strong addition to the leadership team and the company,” Chandran Nair, AEM’s CEO, said in the statement.

EcoWise Holdings

EcoWise Holdings said Wednesday Lye Kar Choon, age 37, had resigned as group financial controller and company secretary, effective 25 March, due to health reasons. He was appointed to the role at the beginning of 2021, the company said in a filing to SGX.

“The board would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Lye for his significant contributions to the group especially in the past year when the group faced significant challenges. The board would like to wish Mr. Lye the best in his future endeavours,” EcoWise said.
