Daiwa House Logistics Trust reported Thursday that its property manager in Japan has conducted a preliminary inspection of the trust’s properties after Wednesday’s strong earthquake.
A magnitude 7.3 or 7.4 earthquake hit Japan’s northeast coast late Wednesday, killing at least two, according to media reports.
The initial assessments were than two properties near the earthquake zone, DPL Sendai Port and DPL
Koriyama, had sustained minor physical damage, the trust said in a filing to SGX.
“However, the full extent of the damage can only be ascertained after more detailed assessments,” Daiwa House Logistics Trust (DHLT) said.
“Based on information provided by the property manager to-date, there were no casualties reported and
all the properties remained in operation as of now,” the trust said.
