Executive moves: OxPay Financial, Vallianz, Aedge, Advanced Holdings

Singapore companies announcing executive changes: OxPay Financial, Vallianz Holdings, Aedge Group and Advanced Holdings.

OxPay Financial 

OxPay Financial said Monday it appointed Chan Wai Kiat, age 45, as chief technology officer of OxPay SG, a wholly owned subsidiary, and as an executive officer of the group. Chan will oversee the IT and technology functions of the group’s payment systems, OxPay said in a filing to SGX.

From February 2020 to November 2021, Chan was chief technology officer at Red Dot Payment, and from February 2018 to January 2020, he was the vice president of business technology services (cards) and group technology and operations at UOB, the filing said.

Vallianz Holdings

Vallianz Holdings said Monday Seah Han Tong Tony, age 57, has resigned as company secretary, legal counsel and head of risk and compliance, effective 13 April, for personal reasons related to health and family matters. 

Seah joined the company in April 2019 as the legal counsel and was appointed secretary in February 2020 and head of risk and compliance in September 2020, the company said in a filing to SGX.

Aedge Group

Aedge Group said Monday it has appointed Khoong Hock Yun as a strategic advisor on the adoption of technology, including blockchain technology, for improving the manpower business in areas such as contract management and payroll, and to connect the company with potential strategic investments in the technology space. 

Khoong is currently the managing partner of Tembusu Partners (Blockchain Fund 1 and 2), the company said in a filing to SGX. Tembusu Partners is a Singapore-based private equity investment firm. In addition, Khoong has been the assistant CEO for the development portfolio at the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore, the filing said.

Poh Soon Keng, executive chairman and CEO of Aedge Group, said in the statement that Khoong would advise on the technology push in labor-intensive businesses to boost worker productivity.

Advanced Holdings

Advanced Holdings said Monday it appointed Tay Bee Gek, age 51, as chief financial officer, effective 21 March. 

From February 2020 to the present, she has been the director of business advisory at InCorp Global and from August 2010 to December 2019, she was the group chief financial officer at One Apex, the filing said.

In a separate filing, Advanced Holdings said Wang Yilong Johnson, age 39, will no longer be acting chief financial officer and has been redesignated as group finance manager, effective 21 March. He was appointed to his position in December 2021, the filing said.

In a separate filing, Advanced Holdings said Teo Siok San Samantha, age 45, will cease to be deputy CEO, effective 21 March, to pursue personal interest and other career opportunities. She was appointed to the role in 2018, the filing said.

Teo holds 60,000 shares of the company, the filing said.
