Singapore substantial shareholder changes: Ascendas REIT and Temasek Holdings, Pegasus Asia and Mapletree Commercial Trust.

Ascendas REIT and Temasek

Tembusu Capital, a subsidiary of Singapore state-owned investment company Temasek Holdings, saw its deemed interest in Ascendas REIT fall to 18.97 percent from 19 percent previously, according to a filing to SGX Thursday. 

The decrease came after Tembusu Capital’s indirect subsidiary Fullerton Fund Management Co., acting as an investment manager, disposed of around 1.27 million units in the market for S$3.54 million on 7 February, the filing said.

Pegasus Asia

Neil Parekh, CEO and non-independent director at Pegasus Asia, acquired 2,200 units of the special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) for S$10,670 in the market on 9 February, taking his total interest to 10,000 units, or 0.02 percent, according to a filing to SGX Thursday.

Parekh is also partner and head of Asia, Australia and New Zealand at Tikehau Capital, the sponsor of Pegasus Asia. 

Mapletree Commercial Trust

Mapletree Commercial Trust Management, the manager of Mapletree Commercial Trust, received 1.16 million units of the trust for S$1.9833 each on Thursday as payment of 50 percent of the base management fee for the October-to-December period, according to a filing to SGX Thursday. 

The transaction boosted the manager’s interest to 3.12 percent from 3.09 percent, the filing said.
