Singapore companies announcing executive changes: Biolidics, Nera Telecommunications (NeraTel) and Tiong Woon.
Biolidics said Monday Yee Pinh Jeremy, age 52, has resigned as non-executive non-independent chairman, effective Monday, to focus on his other existing work commitments. Yee was appointed to the role in 2017, the company said in a filing to SGX.
Yee holds 1.46 million shares of the company, the filing said.
In a separate filing, Biolidics said it redesignated Gavin Mark McIntyre, age 56, to non-executive independent chairman from independent director, effective Monday.
From April 2018 to the present, McIntyre has been a director at Aegis Interaktif Asia, and from December 2015 to the present, he has been a director and consultant at Equitasasia, the filing said.
Nera Telecommunications (NeraTel)
Nera Telecommunications (NeraTel) said Monday Beck Tong Hong, age 50, would cease to be executive director and CEO, effective Monday, to pursue personal interests and opportunities.
Beck, who holds 68,000 shares of the company, was appointed to the role in 2017, NeraTel said in a filing to SGX.
In a separate filing, NeraTel said it had appointed Chong Hoi Ming, age 52, as executive director and CEO, effective Monday.
From 2019-2020, Chong was the regional director for Asean at 3D Networks Singapore, and from 2017-2018, was the regional director for APJ digital proposal center at Dimension Data Asia-Pacific, the filing said.
Tiong Woon Corp. said Monday it appointed Low Tien Pow, age 49, as regional general manager responsible for the group’s overseas business and operations.
From 2015 to January 2022, Low was the general manager of Moh Seng Cranes and from 2005 to 2015, he was the business development manager of Tiong Woon Crane & Transport, the company said in a filing to SGX.
