Singapore company briefs: Mapletree Logistics Trust, City Developments and Nera Telecommunications (NeraTel).

Mapletree Logistics Trust

Mapletree Logistics Trust said Wednesday it has completed the acquisitions of three logistics assets in Vietnam.

City Developments

City Developments said Wednesday it was listed on the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index 2022, marking its fifth straight year in the index. The index aims to track the performance of publicly listed companies committed to transparency in gender-data reporting.

Women make up 69 percent of City Developments’ workforce, with 47 percent of department head roles filled by women, the company said in a filing to SGX.

The 2022 index includes 418 companies across 45 countries and regions.

Nera Telecommunications (NeraTel)

Nera Telecommunications (NeraTel) warned Wednesday it expected to report a net loss for 2021 due to bills of demand for tax liabilities received by two foreign subsidiaries of around S$3.62 million. 

In addition, the company said it had been served with a statutory notice of demand from Sandvine Corp. for S$1.09 million, which was paid in November. 

NeraTel added that it has been experiencing project delays and cancellations and other issues due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
