Singapore companies announcing executive changes: Envictus International Holdings, Nutryfarm International, Informatics Education and Secura Group.
Nutryfarm International said Tuesday Lim Boo Hiong, age 49, would resign as acting chief financial officer and joint company secretary for health reasons. Lim was appointed to his role in October 2021, the company said.
The company is discussing the cessation date with Lim over transition and handover requirements, with the date to be announced later, Nutryfarm said in a filing to SGX.
Informatics Education said Monday it re-designated Yau Su Peng, age 54, to executive chairman from non-executive chairman, effective Monday.
“For the purpose of driving the company’s proposed plans to exit from the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd. (SGX-ST) Watch-List and to ensure sufficient time is devoted to handling and managing the proposed plans to exit from the SGX-ST Watch-List, Ms. Yau Su Peng will be re-designated to an executive capacity to enable her to drive the proposed plans more effectively and efficiently,” Informatics Education said.
She has been a director at the company since 2012, and has been the chief operating officer at Borders Malaysia and Radioshack Malaysia, as well as the director of retail and innovation at Berjaya Corp., the company said in a filing to SGX.
In a separate filing, Informatics Education said it tapped Azhar Bin Azib, age 59, as non-executive non-independent director, effective Monday. He is the founder and principal of Rawonion Decisions, and a management consultant specializing in business transformation and data-driven business, the filing said.
Informatics provides IT courses at foundation, diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Envictus International Holdings
Envictus International Holdings said Tuesday that Tan San Yen, age 36, has resigned as regional head of operations, effective 31 January, to pursue other business interests. She was appointed to the role in 2016, the company said in a filing to SGX.
She was responsible for overseeing Malaysia-based restaurants operated by Texas Chicken (Malaysia), the company said.
Tan San Yen is the daughter of Jaya J B Tan, the executive chairman and a substantial shareholder, and the niece of Kamal Y P Tan, a non-executive director and adviser and substantial shareholder, the filing said.
Envictus International is a food and beverage company, offering trading and frozen food, including the Pok Brothers brand, food processing and dairies. The food services segment operates the Texas Chicken and San Francisco Coffee brands.
Secura Group said Tuesday Lim Siok Leng, age 57, was resigning as executive director and chief financial officer, effective 29 April, to pursue personal interests and to take a break from work commitments. She was appointed to her role in 2015, the company said in a filing to SGX.
“The board is in the midst of identifying a suitable and qualified candidate to fill the position of chief financial officer of the company and to oversee the overall operations of the group’s security printing business, and an appointment will be made in due course,” Secura said in the statement.
Kan Kheong Ng, an executive eirector and the CEO, will oversee the roles until a replacement is appointed, the filing said.
