Singapore substantial shareholder changes: Sasseur REIT, Challenger Technologies, Trans-China Automotive Holdings and ASTI Holdings.

Sasseur REIT

Sasseur Asset Management Pte. Ltd. (SAMPL), the manager of Sasseur REIT, sold 294,500 units in the market for S$248,853 on 31 December and on 3 January, it sold 167,500 units for S$143,213, taking its stake to 1.085 percent from 1.123 percent previously, according to a filing to SGX Monday.

Sasseur Cayman Holding II is the sole shareholder of SAMPL and is deemed interested in the units, with its deemed interest falling to 56.97 percent from 57 percent previously, a filing said.

Xu Rongcan, the non-executive non-independent chairman of Sasseur REIT’s manager, and his spouse, Yang Xue, are both deemed interested in the units held by SAMPL and their deemed interest fell to 57.87 percent from 57.91 percent previously, according to a separate filing to SGX.

Challenger Technologies

Digileap Capital acquired 27,000 shares of Challenger Technologies in the market for S$15,638 on 31 December, boosting its direct interest to 15 percent from 14.99 percent previously, according to a filing to SGX Sunday.

Asia Consumer Electronics wholly owns Digileap Capital and is deemed interested in the shares, the filing said. Asia Consumer Electronics is wholly owned by Diamond GP Holdings II, which is in turn wholly owned by Dymon Asia Private Equity (S.E. Asia) II, which is wholly owned by DAPE, all of which are deemed interested in the Challenger shares, the filing said.

Tan Keng Soon, a non-executive non-independent director of Challenger, holds more than 20 percent of DAPE’s voting shares, and is therefore deemed interested in Digileap Capital’s holdings, the filing said.

Dymon Asia Capital holds more than 20 percent of the voting shares in DAPE, so it is also deemed interested in the Challenger shares, as is Yong Ming Chong (Danny), who holds more than 20 percent of the voting shares of Dymon Asia Capital, the filing said.

Tan is co-founder and managing partner of Dymon Asia Capital.

In October, Digileap Capital acquired a 14.92 percent stake in Challenger.

Cheung Chee Wai Michael, Trans-China Automotive Holdings‘ executive director and chief financial officer, acquired 215,000 shares of the company in the market for S$0.27 a share or a total of S$58,050, taking his interest to 3.56 percent from 3.52 percent previously according to a filing to SGX Monday.
