Singapore companies announcing executive changes: Mapletree Industrial Trust, Yeo Hiap Seng and Miyoshi Ltd.

Mapletree Industrial Trust

Mapletree Industrial Trust‘s manager has appointed Chan Chia Lin, age 57, as independent non-executive director of the manager, effective 1 January, the trust said in a filing to SGX Monday.

From August 2004 to November 2012, she was the executive director and chief investment officer of Fullerton Fund Management, a subsidiary of Singapore state-owned investment company Temasek Holdings, the filing said. From July 2000 to March 2005, she was the managing director of the fund management division for Temasek, the filing said.

Prior to joining Temasek, she had worked at ABN AMRO Bank and the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the trust said.

She is currently a non-executive director of investment holding company Lam Soon Cannery, the filing said.

She holds 41,571 units of Mapletree Industrial Trust directly, while 107,386 units are held by her spouse and 236,796 units are held indirectly via a family trust, the filing said.

Yeo Hiap Seng

Yeo Hiap Seng appointed Ang Chong Lee, age 49, as chief marketing officer, effective 10 January 2022, according to a filing to SGX Monday. Ang will oversee the overall marketing plans for the group, the filing said.

Ang was the global marketing executive director for Air Care at SC Johnson from July 2018 to June 2021, and was the senior director for marketing commercialization for Greater China at SC Johnson from August 2015 to July 2018, the filing said.

Miyoshi Ltd.

Miyoshi Ltd. appointed Toh Shih Hua, age 46, as an executive director, effective Monday, according to a filing to SGX Monday.

She will work closely with the CEO on corporate development and strategic planning, the filing said.

From 2004 to the present, Toh has been the founder and director of Genesis Capital, and from 2016 to 2020, she was the founder and director of TNT Global Capital, the filing said. She is also currently the lead independent director of VibroPower Corp. and was a non-executive independent director of Biolidics, Miyoshi said.

In addition, Miyoshi said it appointed Low See Lien, age 46, as independent non-executive director, effective Monday. From May 2021 to the present, Low has been a partner at Baker Tilly TFW LLP and from June 2012 to May 2021, he was a director at Nextia TS Public Accounting Corp., a filing said.
