Singapore companies announcing executive changes: Nanofilm Technologies International, Challenger Technologies and SATS.

Nanofilm Technologies International

Temasek-backed Nanofilm Technologies International said Monday it appointed Gian Yi Hsen, age 45, as chief commercial and strategy officer, effective 1 January 2022.

Gian has “extensive experience in global strategic investment promotion, industry development, technology solutions identification and incubation as well as enterprise transformation over a span of 20 years,” Nanofilm said in a filing to SGX.

From June 2021 to the present, Gian has been the deputy CEO/strategy and planning at Nanofilm, and from May to June of this year, was the vice president of strategy and planning at the company, the filing said.

He was senior vice president and head of conglomerate of Economic Development Board (EDB) of Singapore from 2018 to May 2021, the filing said.

Gian currently holds 11,000 shares of Nanofilm, the filing said.

Challenger Technologies

Challenger Technologies has re-designated Yong Kim Hon, age 42, from general manager of merchandising and inventory control to CEO of its subsidiary Itez.sg, the company said in a filing to SGX Monday.


SATS said Monday it has appointed Mok Tee Heong Kerry, age 50, as executive director, effective 1 January 2022.

Mok was appointed president and CEO of the company on 15 December, SATS said in a filing to SGX.
