Toh Khai Cheng, age 93, has retired as chairman and non-executive director of Heeton Holdings, effective end-December, to pursue personal interests, according to a filing to SGX Thursday.

Toh Khai Cheng is the father of Toh Giap Eng, the current executive deputy chairman and Toh Gap Seng, an alternate director, both of whom are substantial shareholders of the company, the filing said.

Toh Giap Eng Vince, age 66, will be appointed executive chairman, effective 1 January 2022, a filing said; he was CEO from December 2002 to December 2015, and the executive deputy chairman from January 2016 to December 2021, the filing said.

Toh Gap Seng Jeffrey, age 71, will cease to be alternate director to Toh Khai Cheng as a result of the resignation, effective end-December, and will become the alternate director to Toh Giap Eng on 1 January 2022, SGX filings said.

Toh Khai Cheng holds 34.13 million ordinary shares of Heeton Holdings and is deemed interested in 216.77 million ordinary shares, the filing said.

Toh Gap Seng owns 26.65 million ordinary shares of Heeton Holdings and is deemed interested in 1.88 million shares, a filing said.

Toh Giap Eng owns 62.14 million ordinary shares and is deemed interested in 135.98 million shares, a filing said.
