Singapore companies announcing executive changes: Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings), Forise International and Katrina Group.

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings)

Yangzijiang Shipbuilding (Holdings) said Friday Toe Teow Heng, age 53, will resign as independent non-executive director, effective 6 December.

Toe indicated his resignation was due to an intention to seek a consultation role in Yangzijiang’s proposed spin-off project and to assist in the building of a new international asset management company, the company said in a filing to SGX.

In late November, the Chinese shipbuilder said it is exploring spinning off its investment segment by transferring the existing investments into a newly incorporated company for a proposed listing on SGX within six to 12 months.

Katrina Group

Katrina Group said Thursday Farn Tze Guen (Fan Zijin), age 48, has resigned as the chief operating officer of ST Hospitality due to personal issues related to family, effective 22 December. She was appointed to her role in October, the filing said.

ST Hospitality is a wholly owned subsidiary of Katrina Group.

Forise International

Forise International said Friday Boye Kobaek Hartmann, age 53, has resigned as executive director, effective end-December.

“The amount of work from other commitments has increased and Boye Kobaek Hartmann had to decide on how to live up to all commitments. That is the reason he has chosen to step down,” Forise said in a filing to SGX.

He was appointed to his position in July 2020, the filing said.

In addition, Chin Sin Beng had resigned as an independent non-executive director, effective 14 September, while Siow Chee Keong had been appointed as independent non-executive director, effective 1 December, the company noted.
