Singapore executive moves Tuesday: Aoxin Q&M Dental, Pacific Star Development

These are Singapore companies which announced personnel changes on Tuesday, 2 November 2021: Aoxin Q & M Dental and Pacific Star Development.

Aoxin Q & M Dental

Aoxin Q & M Dental said Tuesday it appointed Ong Siew Hwa, age 49, as executive director, effective Monday, as a condition of the company’s acquisition of a 49 percent stake in Acumen Diagnostics.

Ong is currently the CEO of Acumen Diagnostics, the company said in a filing to SGX. She was also the founder and CEO of Acumen Research Laboratories, the filing said.

Ong is an adjunct assistant professor in the department of microbiology, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, at National University of Singapore (NUS), the filing said.

In a separate filing, Ong disclosed she holds 92.65 million shares of the company, or an 18.21 percent stake.

Pacific Star Development

Pacific Star Development said Tuesday it appointed Darren Chua Nam Fei, age 35, as chief operating officer, effective Wednesday. Chua is currently in-house legal counsel and has headed the group’s legal functions, the company said in a filing to SGX. He will continue to perform his role as general counsel, the filing said.
