Singapore executive moves Wednesday: QT Vascular’s independent chairman to retire

QT Vascular said Wednesday Amir Belson, age 58, the independent chairman, has retired, effective 1 November.

“After approximately five years of service, Mr. Amir Benson informed the company of his decision to step down from his duties as independent chairman of the company to pave the way for board refreshment and to pursue his personal commitments in his private companies,” the company said in a filing to SGX.

QT Vascular said the company is searching for suitable candidates to appoint to the board to meet the requirements of the remuneration and audit committees, and it would endeavor to fill the vacancy within two to three months of Belson’s departure.

In addition the company said it has appointed Momi Mimon Brosh, age 54, as executive director, effective 1 November; he will be responsible for the U.S. and Singapore operations of the group as general manager and executive director.
