China Everbright Water has obtained two waste-water treatment projects, one in Liaoning Province and the other in Shandong Province, with a total investment of around 279 million yuan, the water infrastructure player said in a filing to SGX Monday.
The first project, Dalian Zhuanghe Waste Water Treatment Project Phase II in Liaoning Province, is a concession agreement with the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Zhuanghe City, Liaoning Province, the filing said.
Zhuanghe Project Phase II, which will be under a transfer-operate-transfer model, will require an investment of around 140 million yuan with a concession period of 20 years, China Everbright Water said.
A jointly established project company, formed with an investor representative of the local government, will invest and operate in Zhuanghe Project Phase II and it will be 95 percent-owned by China Everbright Water, the filing said.
Zhuanghe Project Phase II, located in the same plant area as Phase I, will have a designed daily waste-water treatment capacity of 50,000 square meters, the company said. Under the agreement, Phase I will also undergo upgrading work, the filing said.
The second project, Ju County Urban Waste Water Treatment Project in Shandong Province, will be a concession agreement with the Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau of Ju County in Rizhao City, Shandong Province, China Everbright Water said.
The Ju Country Project, which will be under a transfer-operate-transfer model with a 25-year concession period, will have a designed waste-water treatment capacity of 80,000 square meters and an investment of around 139 million yuan, the company said.
The project is China Everbright Water’s fifth waste-water treatment project in Ju County, with its market share in the county’s urban areas reaching 100 percent, the filing said.
