China Everbright Water has submitted an application to the Shanghai Stock Exchange for a possible issuance of asset-backed securities to qualified investors in China, the water infrastructure player said in a filing to SGX Thursday.
The aggregate principal amount of the issuance will be up to 300 million yuan, the filing said.
The potential bond issue is subject to approvals and to prevailing market conditions, and the company may not proceed with the issue, China Everbright Water said.
Orient Minerva Asset Management is the proposed manager of the asset-backed securities program, the filing said.
