Accordia Golf Trust reported Monday the number of players on its 88 courses in October dropped 9 percent on-year to 485,575.

The utilization rate of the courses for October declined 3.5 percentage points to 78.3 percent, Accordia Golf Trust said in a filing to SGX.

During October, Japan was struck by Typhoon Hagibis. The storm, which struck eastern Japan on the evening of 12 October, has left at least 74 people dead and its heavy rain burst as many as 73 levees, with more than 13,000 houses submerged, NHK had reported.

Accordia Golf Trust had said last month three of its golf courses were closed for inspection and repair in the wake of Typhoon Hagibis.

For the April-to-October period, the number of players rose 3.3 percent on-year to 3.64 million, the trust said.

The utilization rate for the April-to-October period increased 3.4 percentage points on-year to 82 percent, the trust said.
