China Everbright Water landed two waste-water treatment projects in Shandong Province with a total investment of around 396 million yuan (S$76.48 million), the water infrastructure player said in a filing to SGX Monday.

The first project, the Ji’nan Tangye New Area Waste Water Treatment PPP project, will be invested in, built and operated by a project company jointly set up on a public-private partnership (PPP) model with a concession period of 30 years, China Everbright Water said.

The project will provide waste-water treatment services to the Tangye New Area in the Licheng District of Ji’nan City, and it will have a total investment of around 313 million yuan, the filing said.

The company will hold 99.9 percent of the project company, while Ji’nan Sijian will hold the remainder, the filing said.

For the second project, the Zibo Northern Waste Water Treatment Plant Expansion Project, the company entered a deal with the Management Committee of Shandong Zibo Economic Development Zone the filing sad.

The project will be on a build-operate-transfer model, with an investment of around 83 million yuan for a concession period of 30 years, the filing said.
