Temasek Holdings has redeemed its US$1.5 billion 4.3 percent guaranteed notes due 25 October 2019 at par value and cancelled them, the state-owned investment company said in a filing to SGX Friday.

“Temasek would like to thank investors for their confidence and support,” the company said.

The bond was issued in October 2009 under Temasek’s US$5 billion guaranteed global medium-term note program, the filing said.

In February 2010, the program size was increased to US$10 billion, and then to US$15 billion in July 2013, and to US$20 billion in July 2018, Temasek said.

With the US$1.5 billion 4.3 percent guaranteed notes’ redemption, Temasek now has 15 outstanding Temasek bonds, the filing said.
