Accordia Golf Trust September player numbers rise 12 percent on-year

Accordia Golf Trust reported Thursday the number of players on its 88 golf courses in September rose 12.2 percent on-year and 1.79 percent on-month to 521,068.

The utilization rate increased to 84.7 percent for September, up 10.2 percentage points on-year and 5.2 percentage points on-month, the trust said in a filing to SGX.

For the fiscal second quarter — or the July-to-September period, the number of players was 1.53 million, up 8.4 percent on-year, with a utilization rate of 80.3 percent, up 6.3 percentage points on-year, the Japanese golf course operator said.

For the April-to-September period, Accordia Golf Trust reported 3.15 million players, up 5.5 percent on-year, and a utilization rate of 82.6 percent, up 4.6 percentage points on-year.
