H.E.R. Entrepreneur, which provides resources for female entrepreneurs, will be holding its Asia Summit in Singapore, with panelists set to offer advice on creating sustainable startups and “building a business for good.”
The speakers will include Swati Pandey, the CEO of India’s Arboreal Innovations, an industrial-scale producer of Stevia leaves and extracts used to make sweetener Stevia.
Atchara Poomee, founder of Thailand’s PAC Corp., a maker of energy-saving water heaters and air conditioners, will also be on the panel, as will Koh Seng Choon, the executive director of Singapore’s Project Dignity, a social enterprise assisting people with disabilities with employment and training.
Rounding out the panel is Claire Sancelot, founder and CEO of Malaysia’s HIVE, a retailer aiming for zero-waste shopping, offering products including compost-able bamboo toothbrushes and metal drinking straws.
The panel will be moderated by Joelle Chia, a board member at angel investor network BANSEA.
Other speakers at the H.E.R. Entrepreneur Asia Summit include Michelle Peh, chief brand officer at Singapore-based preschool operator MindChamps.
The Summit will be held in Singapore on Tuesday, 2 October 2019, at the Orchard Hotel.
