JAKARTA – Morgan Stanley said the quick election victory of Indonesia’s incumbent President Joko Widodo-Ma’ruf Amin against contender Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno set the stage for the continuation of structural reform policies, including for infrastructure development.
In a report entitled “Incumbent Wins: What’s Next after the Dust Settles,” Morgan Stanley Asia economists outlined several structural reforms the government needed to make.
