Singapore share buybacks Wednesday: Jardine Strategic, Bumitama Agri, Sunpower

These are Singapore companies which announced share buybacks on Wednesday, 23 January 2019:

Jardine Matheson and Jardine Strategic

JMH Investments, a wholly owned subsidiary of Jardine Matheson Holdings (JMH), bought 378,000 shares of Jardine Strategic Holdings (JSH) for US$36.9624 each, it said in a filing to SGX after the market close on Wednesday.

JMH is a subsidiary of JSH; JMHI will retain the JSH shares it purchased, the filing said.

JSH is required to maintain a free float of at least 15 percent, it said.

Bumitama Agri

Bumitama Agri bought back 200,000 shares in the market at S$0.7087 each for a total consideration, including other costs, of S$142,028, it said in a filing to SGX after the market close on Wednesday.

Sunpower Group

Sunpower Group bought back 90,000 shares in the market at S$0.405 each for a total consideration, including other costs, of S$36,547, it said in a filing to SGX after the market close on Wednesday.

Stamford Land

Stamford Land bought back 50,000 shares in the market at S$0.49 each for a total consideration, including other costs, of S$24,537, it said in a filing to SGX after the market close on Wednesday.
