Frasers Commercial Trust urged caution over a Business Times report on Thursday that Google was in talks with the trust about leasing 400,000 square feet of space at Alexandra Technopark.
“The manager is currently in discussions with various prospective tenants to lease space at Alexandra Technopark. There is no certainty that any agreement would be reached or any definitive agreement would be entered into, in respect of these on-going discussions,” Frasers Commercial Asset Management, the manager of the trust, said in a filing to SGX on Thursday.
That was after halting trade in the units before the market open on Thursday.
The trust manager advised unitholders to be cautious when dealing in their units.
The trading halt was lifted in the middle of the afternoon session.
The units ended up 2.80 percent at S$1.47.
