The manager of SPH REIT tapped Benjamin Kuah Hsein Yiao, age 38, as chief financial officer, replacing Soon Suet Har, age 45, it said in a filing to SGX after the market close on Thursday.

Soon is returning to Singapore Press Holdings, the REIT’s sponsor, for “other exposure and development,” the filing said. Her departure will take effect on Friday, it said. Soon holds 14,987 SPH REIT units, it said.

Kuah was group financial controller at Nanshan Group Singapore from 2016 to 2018 and assistant to the chief financial officer at Stamford Land from 2014 to 2016, the filing said. From 2011 to 2014, he was senior manager at Resorts World Sentosa and from 2004 to 2010, he was a manager at PriceWaterhouse Coopers Singapore, it said.
