Sunpower Group said late on Friday that its chief operating officer, Shen Qiang, has resigned, effective Friday, for personal reasons.
Shen, age 43, had been appointed to the position in 2016, it said in a filing to SGX after the market close on Friday.
He had been responsible for administration, human resources and the U.S. sales office, it said.
Shen holds 1.2 million Sunpower shares, it said.
The company said in the filing that there were no unresolved differences in opinion on material matters, including financial reporting, between Shen and the board of directors.
