Singapore Airlines to issue S$600 million in bonds

Singapore Airlines said on Thursday that it launched and priced S$600 million in aggregate principal of 3.16 percent notes due 2023 to fund aircraft purchases and aircraft related payments.

The notes, issued under the carrier’s S$5 billion multicurrency medium term note program as series 007, will be issued at 100 percent of their face value and in denominations of S$250,000, it said in a filing to SGX after the market close on Thursday.

The issue data is expected to be 25 October, with the maturity data on 25 October 2023, it said. Application will be made to Singapore Exchange Securities Trading (SGX-ST) for the listing and quotation of the notes, it said.

DBS Bank, OCBC and UOB are the joint lead managers, it said.
