  • The SICOM front-month contract settled Friday at 135.5 U.S. cents per kg, down 1.3 cents.
  • TOCOM January delivery rubber futures fell 0.6 yen to 175.9 yen (US$1.58) per kg.
  • Shanghai rubber stocks were unchanged last week at 172 metric tons, data showed on Friday.
  • Support for rubber is expected in the coming months as Indian tire makers hunt for supplies after floods in the rubber-producing state of Kerala this month. Kerala accounts for 85-90 percent of Indian natural rubber supply, in turn making up for 65 percent of the total rubber consumption.
